Im August eröffneten wir unseren Standort in Vancouver, Kanada, unter der Leitung von Bruno Stadler. Diese Expansion ermöglicht es uns, den kanadischen Markt mit nachhaltigen Holzuntergeschossen im Wohnungsbau zu unterstützen und die innovative Bauweise weiter zu verbreiten.

We have received our first order from Canada. In British Columbia in Western Canada, three residential buildings are being built with a shallow-foundation timber floor slab.

Beim Gaswerkarealfest am 18. Mai 2024 fand ein Podiumsgespräch zum Thema «Geht Stadtentwicklung nachhaltig und basisorientiert?» statt. Stefan Zöllig präsentierte seine Ideen rund um dieses aktuelle Thema.

Am 2. Mai 2024 lädt der 17. Holzbautag Biel Architekten, Ingenieure, Ausführende und Bauherren zu einem inspirierenden Branchentreff ein. Timbase wird mit dem Stand 38 dabei sein und Innovationen im Holzbau präsentieren.

In der neuesten Folge des Podcasts "Nature and the City" betont Stefan Zöllig als Gast im Gespräch mit Claudia Acklin die Bedeutung von nachhaltigem Bauen. Er beleuchtet die Auswirkungen von Zementproduktion auf den CO₂-Ausstoss und präsentiert innovative Lösungen aus dem Bereich des Holzbaus anhand des Projektes BMW15 in Thun.

The S-WIN training course in Weinfelden 2023 discussed the performance of the building envelope for the city and the region. Professor Christoph Renfer spoke about the building envelope under terrain - requirements and detailed solutions.

Every year, the Economic Society awards the best master's theses in the field of economics and business administration at the University of Berne as well as the best three diploma theses of the higher technical colleges of the Canton of Berne related to economics. Richard Wüthrich is nominated for the award with his diploma thesis on basements in timber.

What seemed impossible for a long time is now reality: a garage made entirely of wood. In Schattenhalb BE stands the first garage with floor and walls made of cross laminated timber. The construction method is the same as for a basement.

Full house at the open house. Over 180 people wanted to see and feel the basement made of wood. The BMW15 apartment building in Thun is an innovative showcase project: It stands on the first basement made of wood in Switzerland, does not require heating and was built entirely without concrete.
