We at Timbase are excited about Canada’s Off-site Construction Challenge — a major opportunity to advance scalable, high-performance housing solutions. The program offers finalists up to $180,000 in planning and design funding, as well as the opportunity to secure up to $10 million in contribution funding for selected projects in the next phase. 

We’re contributing with our Timber Basement as a Step 2 top-up solution, expanding off-site timber construction with durable, high-quality timber basement systems. Our timber basements go beyond structural performance. They enable: 

• faster construction 
• high precision through off-site manufacturing 
• improved energy performance 
• permanent CO₂ storage within the building structure
